Who this applies to
This describes how MedicSupport Network operates the clinical side of the group — our own clinicians, and the hospitals and clinics we run. It applies to every country in which we operate, alongside — never instead of — the professional and healthcare regulation of that country.
Our clinicians are our own employees
Every clinician working under the MedicSupport Network name is employed by the group, on the group's payroll, and subject to the group's own clinical governance, appraisal, safeguarding and disciplinary procedures. This includes clinicians seconded to hospitals in Europe and America: they remain our employees throughout, and remain accountable to us, even where a partner hospital holds day-to-day supervision.
Registration and scope of practice
Before any clinical role begins, we confirm current registration with the relevant professional body and confirm that the registration covers the work being assigned. Registration is re-checked at defined intervals and on any change of employer, country or specialism. A clinician is not placed in a role their registration does not cover.
Our regulatory registrations are: [PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATORS, BY COUNTRY — TO BE SUPPLIED].
Credential verification
Where we publish a clinician profile or issue a credential reference, the record stateswhat was verified, against which register, and on what date. We publish records we have verified and nothing else.
A verification confirms identity and registration status on the stated date. It is not a fitness-to-practise certificate, not a statement of current clinical competence, and not an endorsement of a specific treatment. Full terms are in ourTerms of Use.
Safeguarding
We operate facilities where vulnerable people — including children, older adults and patients with reduced capacity — are treated. Every member of clinical staff is required to complete safeguarding training and to report concerns. We have a named safeguarding lead at each facility and a central escalation route to group level.
Concerns about the safety of a child or a vulnerable adult are raised with the safeguarding lead and escalated immediately to the statutory authority in the country concerned. We cooperate with any statutory investigation.
Clinical incidents and complaints
Clinical incidents, near misses and adverse events are recorded and reviewed. Serious incidents are escalated to group clinical governance and, where the law requires, to the statutory regulator.
Complaints about care received at one of our facilities are handled by that facility under the complaints procedure of the country it operates in, and — where the patient was treated elsewhere — we will still investigate a complaint about the conduct of one of our clinicians.
Raising a concern about a clinician
If you wish to raise a concern about a clinician carrying our credential, contact us atenquiries@medicsupport.network with the reference number shown on the credential. We will acknowledge it, investigate it, and tell you the outcome in line with the applicable procedure.
If a clinician's conduct may put a patient at immediate risk, contact the emergency services or the relevant regulator first — do not wait for our reply.
Clinical audit and quality
Facilities are subject to internal clinical audit covering patient safety, infection control, medicines management, record keeping and consent. Findings are reported to group clinical governance and actions are tracked to completion.
Limits of this document
This is a summary of our arrangements, not a complete governance framework, and it does not replace the regulatory requirements of any country in which we operate. Where this page and a national regulator's requirements differ, the regulator's requirements apply.
This document has not been reviewed by a lawyer or a clinical governance adviser and must be before commercial launch.
